Notified on 8 August 2006, with effect from 21 August 2006, this merger consists of the acquisition, by the undertaking LACTOGAL - Produtos Alimentares SA (LACTOGAL), of sole control of International Dairies CV and the consequent direct control of the company Dean Netherlands BV, which indirectly owns the LECHE CELTA GROUP in Spain and the company RENOLDY - Produção e Comercialização de Leite e Produtos Lácteos Lda (RENOLDY) in Portugal.
