Notified on 6 February 2006, the present operation consists of the prior notification of a merger between undertakings, carried out under the provisions of Article 9 of the legislation cited. The merger in question consists of the acquisition of sole control of the company ACTIVIDADES MULTI-CINEMAS E ESPECTÁCULOS LDA ("AMC Portugal") by the company CINEMA INTERNATIONAL CORPORATION LDA ("CIC") by means of the acquisition, from Grupo AMC, of the total registered capital of AMC Portugal.
