Notified on 8 August 2007, with effect on 10 September 2007, this merger consists of the acquisition, by Petróleos de Portugal - Petrogal SA ("Petrogal"), of exclusive control of Probigalp - Ligantes Betuminosos SA ("Probigalp"), by means of the acquisition of 10% of the latter company´s registered capital, from Mota-Engil, Engenharia e Construção SA.
