Notified on 17 July 2008, with effect on 21 July 2008, this merger operation, as notified, consists of the creation of a joint venture (NewCo) in which the following entities will participate: Farcoware - Cooperativa Informática de Farmácia Crl (Farcoware), Codifar - Cooperativa Distribuidora Farmacêutica Crl (Codifar), União dos Farmacêuticos de Portugal Crl (União), Medlog - Investimentos e Participações SGPS, SA (Medlog), Disfalog - Distribuição e Logística Lda (Disfalog) and LPL - Multimédia Lda (LPL).
