Notified on 1 June 2009, with effect on 23 June 2009, the present merger operation consists of the acquisition, by Alliance Healthcare SA (henceforth "Alliance Healthcare"), of exclusive control of Proconfar-Produtos de Consumo Farmacêuticos SA (henceforth "Proconfar"), by means of the acquisition of its total share capital.
