Notified on 27 February 2009, this merger operation consists of the acquisition, by Medtronic, Inc. (henceforth "Medtronic"), through the recently established special purpose entity Armstrong Merger Corporation, of exclusive control of Corevalve, Inc. (henceforth "Corevalve"), by means of the acquisition of all the shares representing the latter company´s registered capital.
