In Portugal, ENGIE is mainly active in the development and operation of energy production assets (wind, solar hydro and thermal).

Description
Currently controlled exclusively by OW, it is active in the production and wholesale supply of electricity in mainland Portugal, through the WindFloat project, which consists of a solution of three wind turbines mounted on floating platforms located on the north coast of Portugal, 20 km from Viana do Castelo, with a maximum electrical energy generation capacity of 25 MW.
