The AdC issued a Recommendation addressed to the Government considering that State intervention in the installation of commercial units, in addition to the existing city council licensing, should aim at ensuring compliance with environmental requirements, territorial planning and urban policy. It also considered that all unnecessary administrative added costs should be avoided, by limiting the system of prior installation authorization to commercial units whose size is likely to have negative effects on the abovementioned aspects.
