The infringement proceeding PRC 2008/09 was opened by the Competition Authority Board on 15.05.2008, concerning a possible breach of Article 4 of Law 18/2003, of 11 June. The practices under investigation correspond to an increase in the prices charged by Funchal driving schools for obtaining a B licence for light vehicles, which rose from between 300 and 400 euros to 600 and 650 euros between December 2007 and July 2008.
