Summary of the case

In view of the current inflationary context, the AdC has adopted a set of recommendations aimed at raising awareness among companies along the value chain of consumer goods of the importance of adopting strategies in line with the best competition practices. In particular, the AdC recommends companies to periodically review their commercial activities to prevent risky behaviours along the value chain. This is crucial to ensure that markets work effectively, contributing to fair and competitive prices. The aim is also to highlight behaviours prohibited by Competition Law, including those that may arise in relations between suppliers and distributors.
