Case description
Notified on 21 June 2006, this merger consists of the acquisition, by REN - Rede Eléctrica Nacional SA (REN), of sole control of a series of regulated natural gas assets held at present by Galp Energia SGPS SA and by certain of its holdings, through which it carries out activities involving the transport of high pressure natural gas, underground storage and natural gas regasification (Gas Assets).
