Notified on 20 April 2009, the present merger operation consists of the acquisition by the company Merck KGaA (henceforth "Merck"), through its subsidiary Merck BV, of exclusive control of the company MediCult a/s (henceforth "MediCult"), as a result of the acquisition of its registered capital, within the scope of a takeover bid on the Oslo Stock Exchange.
