Summary of the case

The Portuguese Competition Authority (AdC) opened an infringement proceeding on 23.09.2010, based on a complaint on an alleged abuse of dominant position by EMAC, regarding the collection of undifferentiated and selective waste, of large producers in the municipality of Cascais. On 14.01.2014, the AdC closed the case with a filing decision as there was no evidence of a dominant position by EMAC.
